Preventative Maintenance

Roof Restoration
As a roof reaches the end of its service life, two options are available depending on the condition of the underlying components. If the underlying components are wet the roof requires replacement. Should the underlying components be dry the roof may be a candidate for restoration. By upgrading the flashing membrane at the perimeter and penetrations and resurfacing the roof system the life expectancy of the roof may be extended 10 years at a fraction of the cost of complete replacement.

Selective Roof Repairs
Should a section of the roof become wet, selective areas can be removed and replaced to prevent complete failure of the roof system. The need for additional roof top equipment and penetrations requires the roof to be cut open and sealed with similar and compatible materials as the original roof.

Complete Roof Replacement
When a roof has reached the end of its service life and is not a candidate for restoration, complete removal and replacement is necessary. At IRSL are fully trained in the latest roofing systems and specialized in asphalt built-up roofing.
