Industrial Roofing Services Limited was asked to remove and replace a luxury condo terrace in North Toronto. The only access to the terrace was through the tenant’s condo. All disposal was to be bagged and removed via buggies through the elevator. We collaborated very closely with the client and tenant to make sure there was little disruption to the tenant’s busy schedule. 

The specification required us to reuse the existing screening and interlock. When we exposed the existing roof membrane, we found several areas where the membrane was no longer adhered at the upturn. The existing roof membrane was replaced at the upturns (flashings) and on the field, bond tests were completed to ensure the membrane was adhered, and new R-15 insulation was installed.
