Roof Repair Membrane Restoration

One of our clients contacted us because they needed help with their roof. Their old roof was a 2 ply modified bitumen, 25,000 square foot roof that was installed in the early 2000s. It was beginning to blister and have membrane failure. The insulation for the roof was still in good condition and not at all wet, which meant that the roof was a good candidate for our roof restoration service. The first thing our professional did was cut out and repair the blisters. Next, our people primed the existing membrane using Soprema’s Elastocol 500 primer and installed a new cap sheet. After that, we installed new sheet metal flashings along the perimeter of the roof. Check out the before and after pictures from the project below.
